Tips on the Right Way to Dress for Your Body Shape: The Hourglass
The female body shape falls under five main groups. Your shape of body has nothing to do with the size of your body, per se.
Body shape classification is more concerned with the ratio of certain parts of your body to other parts.
Bear in mind that this body shape groups are not cast in stone. You may find that your shape falls into more than one group.
Moving on, here are the five main body shape groups:
Hourglass
Pear
Apple
Straight
Wedge
Hourglass or Figure-Eight: This is said to be the balanced body shape.
You're an hourglass if:
Your waist is 8 to 10 inches narrower than your bust and hips
Your shoulders and hips are about the same width
You have a small waist
Examples of Hourglass Shapes
Wear skirts and dresses that fall just below the knee or knee-length.
